CARES Act update for Small businesses due to COVID
Posted on Apr 1st, 2020
Dear Business Partners,
The recently passed CARES Act provides emergency assistance for individuals, families, and businesses affected by the 2020 coronavirus pandemic.
Within the act, the Federal government has allocated $349 billion in relief for small businesses through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
Attached above please find a fact sheet from the US Treasury Department detailing the program.
Businesses need to apply for funding through an existing FDIC insured lender.
Also, the City of Strongsville has created a new Business Resource webpage with additional information regarding available assistance. To view the information please click here - www.strongsville.org/coronavirus
If you have any questions or need assistance connecting with the SBA, an FDIC lender, or any other requests, please contact me directly at 440-580-3118.
With Best Regards,
Director of Economic Development
City of Strongsville
